Budget 2018 cap on R&D Tax Credits

  The R&D scheme allows a company undertaking qualifying activity to claim a payable R&D tax credit if after the R&D enhanced deduction they are making a loss in the year concerned. Total number of claims in year  26,255  - up 19% on previous year. Total number of SME claims in year – 21,865.  Up from 17,875 in previous year.  A 22% increase.
